Welcome to Havers Counselling

Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist - Helping You Work Towards Growth Through Therapeutic Change

Welcome to an opportunity to make a healing change in your life, because...

  • You're struggling with emotional or psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma.

  • You want to work on mental health and emotional resilience in a supportive, therapeutic setting.

  • You seek to gain deeper insight into your thoughts, behaviours, and past experiences.

  • You're seeking trustworthy therapeutic support tailored to your unique needs.

...as a skilled and established therapist, I'm here to help.

When you find yourself struggling with life, feeling stressed, anxious or depressed, or perhaps dealing with family issues, it can negatively affect your wellbeing. It may seem impossible to see past your problems because of a sense of isolation and believing that no one will understand.

I'm inviting you to make positive changes to your life and to gain a hope for the future by first connecting with me - because talking is where the healing begins.

I specialise in helping you to overcome anxiety, low self-esteem, and the affects of childhood trauma into adulthood. Plus, I have first-hand experience of surviving the narcissist.

If you're feeling unsure about beginning counselling, check out my blog 'What To Expect From Your First Therapy Session' for more information.

Confidentiality

Your therapy sessions will take place in a safe space, where I will listen with respect and empathy - and without judgement. Confidentiality and trust are key aspects of our therapeutic relationship, and counselling will give you an opportunity to openly express your thoughts and feelings; maybe even for the first time. Ask yourself - "what does this mean to me?"

Be Heard...

Many people face stress and difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to cope with – whether it’s relationship issues; anxiety or panic attacks, mood swings or feelings of depression, dealing with the negative aftereffects of the pandemic or other struggles. Being truly heard will help you to gain a better understanding of what’s causing these challenges - and enable us to explore the ways in which you can either manage them differently or change their outcome.

Growth and Change

By working together in a trustful way that is supported by evidence-based interventions; I can help you gain an insight into the difficulties you are facing with life and relationships, and help you understand why you act or react to stressors in the way you do. This will facilitate you to explore and embrace the developmental stages of change and growth into realising your full potential, or unmasking your ideal self.
